I had the probably the same problem over the past two years.
As you know I using Linux, I noticed two source of the problem:
1. Warps from my Damn connection #^$%&$%*^$#*#%#@$#& +some extra to my admin %$#@W^&!$~@!
2. Delayed et graphics.

The first problem can not be repaired, about the second I managed to resolve a few days ago.
On Linux there is a problem with delayed displaying graphics, because the desktop manager shows et the wrong way.
For example I never could hit enemy with scoped k43/garand when he moved NEVER, so I stoped play like a sniper :(
I have all time pmove_fixed = 0

The solution is to run et with its own X server.
xinit path_to_et_binary -- :1
-- next commands will be pass to Xserver
:1 run in DISPLAY 1

Now I have sniper HS/hits always, normal HS/hits always, more frags also always ;]

that u can do snipe again and hit has nothing to fo with your linux options, :)

i think thats the new nq 1.2.9
because in 1.2.7 it was impossible to snipe u cant even hit a afk guy on a free area. :angry:

1.2.9 nq is great :P

Today I was also suffering about this problem on KW2. :(
The weird thing is that I haven't made any changes into my game system (Windows 7 64 bit).
