map voting is bad, the reason why we started to play here, is becourse of we played before on a server there had map voting, the problem was we played the same maps over and over. there fore we moved to kernwaffe

I want to agree with Amadeus, i think a balanced campaign is the better way.

However, i like the new campaign but i would like to see a campaign without Venice and Hotchkiss soon, we played it for more than 2 years now..;)

i like most of the maps amadeus listed.
i would like to see some of the etdo maps sometimes. these are good maps that have very little lag.
radarlaboratory
mechatronix
pipeline refinery
oilcombinat
fueldepot
their dual objs are also good
normandy breakout
and one whos name i do not remember which is set in a trainyard and is a newer version of a map already played on kw

other good maps
eagle2 ways
facility 31 (unfortunately this one has a high learning curve which might make too many kw players hate it)
helmsdeep
sandstorm
transmitter
whoreage canyon (a mod to carnage canyon which makes it easier for allies to get off the beach)

trying to only list maps i cant recall playing here yet. but would love to see the return of some that i have seen here again.

Yes!!! Helmsdeep and Facility31, couldn't remember their names, I totally agree with you mate, those are brilliant!!! I would like to suggest however to disable next map vote for 31 otherwise we'd probably never see the end of it ;)

fueldepot - jesus no.Do you know how much this map lags.Let me explain what happens when its played.Previews map ends with 42 players in server,fuel dump starts with 10 ppl in server aka nobody likes this map.

not fuel dump. fuel depot, the etdo map. i agree fuel dump lags a hell of alot but i dont recall any of the etdo maps lagging and i have played them all with more the 20 on a team.

That's wrong.
There is a new cmpgn once a month and I am always waiting for wishes and suggestions. Keep 'em coming! Most of the feedback sounds like this: "What a shit map" or "who put on that crapmap?"
Doesn't help at all.

Amadeus asked for some maps and since he was the only one to do so, I enjoyed granting him some of his wishes. That's the way it works, although I didn't take all of them...

As for the etdo maps, I tested them quite a time ago when I didn't have the power to !cancelvote yet... :) I'll have at least one of them back on the server next month and check your other suggetions, too, promised.


fueldump: It's not that ppl hated this map, they won't stop asking for fueldump! Problem is: The map kicks for too few hunkmegs, sadly it's the only version running "properly" on NQ...

temple: I like it, but it's a laggy Arty-Hell map. It will be back since it's classic, but I don't know when.

helmsdeep: I had several complaints about maps not related to the WWII scenario... I can understand this. And it is quite boring too...

Simple google research solve the hunkmegs problem for almost everyone.

another map i forgot to mention
wolfsrudel(version with axis access from below to radar parts is best)
airfield assault (not sure if that is the right name)

i have a whole bunch of maps in my et folder that i cannot recall which map they are some were very good others not so
someday i will go into each and see which ones were good. of course i also have a lot of crap maps in there that i hope i never see again lol (though i know people who like some of those. chiken bucket comes to mind. i hate that map but alot like it)
anyway just trying to fill out your maps list with more possibilities.

Suggestion: Praetoria Mission One: Bunker Hill (v2.0)

This map is part of the Praetoria campaign (3rd map is still under development). We have Mission Two running on KW2 already so it would be great if you could put this map just before it!

Also note that this is v2.0, which means that the lag is gone. Please consider it for a test run. :lol:
